Art For A Change

Announcement 2018-2019: We are in the works creating our foundation Art For A Change! Our immediate goal is to capture the minds of young aspiring artists before the world tells them art is just a hobby and they should get a "real job" and inspire them to pursue their creative dreams. Not everyone is born a Picasso but many young artists are discouraged early on from pursuing creative careers by those lacking information and understanding of how extensive the term art really goes, from illustrations to murals to music to fashion design the world of art is quite expansive to be so limited by the reality of others with narrower visions. Some of us are meant to make a loud statement with more than just pretty pictures but sharing our vision with the world. Art makes the world go round from commercials, to billboards, to television, to books and magazines, art is in everything. We are an era of creators and visionaries. Art For A Change will provide opportunities for young flourishing artists to learn how to create a career that conquers the old adage about "starving artists". From start to finish young artists will be taught how to book jobs/murals, how to budget projects, how to approach prospective clients, how to determine materials needed for jobs, overcoming and preventing unforeseen project obstacles and more. They will have opportunities to participate as a paid apprentice under a seasoned muralist on various projects. We will have workshops for aspiring artists to explore various mediums working with professional local artists in that field from screen printing, to clay modeling, to painting. We are in discussions with a dear friend and investor about opening a gallery with workshop and venue spaces for local artists in 2018-2019. So be looking out for updates on this upcoming endeavor!
